A Weekend in Baguio

8 to 9 June 2013. A weekend trip to Baguio with friends.

dsc00364Day 0: June 7, 2013 (Friday night). Departure from Manila.

After office hours, we went to Victory Liner in Cubao and bought a bus ticket going to Baguio City.

We waited for few hours before boarding the bus and while waiting we bought food in Chowking for our dinner.

At around 10pm of that night, we departed Cubao then traveled to Baguio.

We all slept in the bus while we were traveling.

We arrived in Baguio at dawn (June 8, 2013)

Near the bus terminal in Baguio, there are people offering a place to stay for the tourist. We chose to stay in an apartment where we paid at around 2k each for 2 nights.

-End of Day 0-

Day 1: June 8, 2013. Burnham Park – Teachers Camp – Botanical Garden – Mines View Park – Hidden Hydro Falls

We woke up early and had breakfast at the McDonald’s.

After breakfast, we went to Burnham Park and rode a boat.

Then next was the Teachers Camp and explored the place.

After that, we went to Botanical Garden and Mines View Park to buy souvenirs and to take some pictures.

Then the last place we explored on that day was the Hidden Hydro Falls.

We had dinner at Mang Inasal in SM Baguio.

-End of Day 1-

Day 2: June 9, 2013. PMA (Philippine Military Academy) – Camp John Hay – Diplomat Hotel. Departure from Baguio

Breakfast…

We went to the PMA (Philippine Military Academy. We explored the place and went to their museum.

After PMA, we headed to Camp John Hay to stroll. Then we head back to the apartment where we stayed and got our things and ate our lunch.

After lunch, we went to the Diplomat Hotel which was last stop before going back to Manila.

Then after taking pictures in Diplomat Hotel, we went to bus terminal and ride a bus back to Manila.

Arrived Manila between 6pm to 8pm.
